what to expect
Every flower is unique and requires its own special care and preparation for professional preservation. The final results depend largely on the freshness of your blooms when they arrive at our studio. Flowers that are already wilting will continue to brown and fade during the drying process. While most blooms can be preserved beautifully, some naturally hold their color and shape better than others.
Even the brightest, freshly picked flowers will continue to age gently over time, even once they are sealed securely within your frame. Preserving blooms naturally is important to us. By maintaining each flower’s natural texture and delicate wrinkles without the use of dyes or chemicals, your piece is able to evolve gracefully, much like the finest works of art that grow richer with age.
At Vintage Embers, we believe time adds beauty. Just as we treasure vintage pieces that tell a story through their wear and warmth, we embrace the natural aging of your preserved blooms. Each piece becomes a timeless reflection of your moment, beautifully imperfect and all the more meaningful as the years go on.
“Getting my wedding bouquet pressed and framed was one of the best decisions I made! I didn’t want to see my beautiful wedding bouquet go to waste after the wedding, and now I have the best framed keepsake for life! It is a gorgeous frame that captures all of the beautiful elements that were in my bouquet. I even got one for my mom and she loves being able to have a keepsake for herself, as well! I definitely recommend framing and pressing any bouquet you don’t want to see go to waste! They also make amazing gifts for others!”
